Between Take Off and Landing

Michael Walsh finds himself diverted to Gander, Newfoundland and stranded with 6,000 other travelers on September 11, 2001. Holed up at the bar in the local Elks Lodge, waiting to resume their travels and their lives, this New Yorker and his fellow passengers examine Gander, the world, and themselves in this unique comic odyssey. Even in adversity, there
is definitely humor to be found. Michael Walsh finds it and imparts it tastefully and skillfully, complete with New York, Irish, English and Newfoundland accents.
